About this recipe: This is my sister's recipe. Her in-laws were very impressed the first time she made this for them.

Serves: 2 

  • 250 grams cauliflower (cut into small pieces)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon Shahi jeera
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 2 medium tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1 tablespoon onion paste
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon haldi powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 teaspoons dhaniya powder
  • 1 teaspoon jeera powder
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • salt to taste

Prep:10min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:25min 

  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry the gobi for about 2 minutes. Add shahi jeera and peas and sauté for another 2 minutes. Add onion paste and sauté for a few more seconds.
  2. Add curd, tomatoes and the dry masalas. Cover the pan and cook until the tomatoes turn soft. Serve hot with chapaati or rice.
