    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 2 lemon sized tamrind
    • 2 tbl spoon chilli powder or rasam powder
    • 1 lemon sized jaggery
    • 1/2 tblspn rice flour
    • 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
    • 1 tsp mustard seeds
    • 1 pinch asefotida
    • 1 tblspn refined sunflower oil
    • 1 string curry leaves
    • 1 string corriander leaves
    • 1 tblspn urad dal
    • 1 tblspn salt

    Directions
    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Heat the oil in kadai and garnish with mustard seeds , asefotida, curry leaves, urd dal, fenugreek seeds
    2. soak tamrind in the hot water for 10 mins before the first step
    3. squeeze tamrind juice in kadai , salt , jaggery and water and allow to boil for 5 mins
    4. add chilli powder and boil for 5mins
    5. mix rice flour with little water and add this paste to the above boiling mixture for thickness. allow it to boil for 5 mins for a thick paste.
    6. add corriander leaves and tangy curry is ready to taste !!

    Tip

    you can add raw mango instead of tamrind and follow the same steps.
