Dry roast all the ingredients except onion and salt.
Grind the roasted ingredients along with onion and salt to make a paste.The paste need not be too soft.
Cut the Karelas from the middle and remove the inner seeds
Sprinkle about 1 teaspoons salt on them and let it soak for couple of 15 mins in a plate.
Remove the karelas from the salt. Squeeze the karelas to remove the bitterness.
In a flat pan, put like 4 teaspoons of oil. Put the karelas in the pan,sprinkle little salt and cover the pan with the lid on a low flame. After about 5 minutes turn the karelas .Now cover the pan again.
Once the karelas are soft,remove them from pan and slowly fill the prepared stuffing in each of the karela.Put the stuffed karelas in the same pan with the oil left once again and cover.Leave for 5-7 mins so that the stuffing gets cooked and the karelas become crispy.
