Kaju, Badam Momu

    These momus are really healthy. In our region, they are made especially for pregnant women and small kids because they contain all the nutrition they need.

    Serves: 2 

    • 1 Dry Coconut
    • 1 bowl Jaggery
    • 2-3 tsp Pepper
    • 2-3 almonds
    • 2-3 kaaju
    • 1 cup water
    • 2 cups wheat flour

    1. Roughly grind the coconut along with pepper for 5 seconds. Mix jaggery, almond and cashews to ground coconut.
    2. Add water in wheat flour and make a puri-like dough. Make a puri with this dough. Fill the coconut stuffing in the puri and fold it. Make sure the stuff doesn't leak out.
    3. Steam the puri for 10 mins in a deep vessel. Serve hot with ghee.
