About this recipe:Broccoli is not very common in India, but now increasingly available in the city super markets. Here is a broccoli preparation using coconut and the kerala style of preparing food. I love it!!!
Heat oil in a frying pan and toss mustard seeds and let splutter. Now toss in red chilies, urad dal, Cumin, ginger, garlic and onions.Saute until onions are golden brown. Now add corriander powder and coconut. Saute till the coconut gets roasted.
Now add water, turmeric powder, broccoli and salt. Stir a few times, lower the flame and cook covered until done.
