    About this recipe: This curry is well loved in my family. It goes well with steamed rice and steamed tapiocca.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 3 teaspoons Cooking oil
    • 3/4 cup Grated coconut
    • 1/4 cup Coriander seed
    • 4 Dry red chili
    • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin
    • 4 tablespoons Grated raw mango
    • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
    • 1/4 teaspoon Fenugreek
    • 2 teaspoons Ginger garlic paste
    • 7-8 Curry leaves
    • 1 medium Onions, chopped fine
    • 2 cups Deveined prawns
    • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
    • 1 1/2 cup Water
    • Salt to taste

    1. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan. Add coconut, coriander seed, red chili and cumin and mango. Roast until a fine coconutty aroma comes out. Let cool and grind well in a mixer.
    2. Heat oil in a deep pan. Add mustard and let splutter. Add fenugreek, ginger -garlic paste, curry leaves and onions. Saute till onions are tender.
    3. Now add prawns, turmeric powder and water and let cook. When almost done, add the ground mixture and salt and let boil a few minutes.
