About this recipe:Kahva is a special tea from Kashmir. It's filled with fragrant cardamom, cinnamon and looks very pretty in a glass mug with chopped almonds swimming happily. I'm making it for my mom for Mother's Day brunch. LOVE YOU, MA!
Heat a pan over high heat and boil the water. Add spices and let them boil for 5 minutes. Now, add the tea and boil another 5 minutes.
Pour into transparent cups preferably, it has a beautiful color. Also for garnishing, you may add chopped almond.
Note: When using saffron, add it at the beginning with the spices. No green tea is required for this method. It is a herbal tea.
Pour into cups. Add chopped almonds and sugar to taste. Mix well and serve.
You may reduce the spice quantity if the flavour is too strong for you.
