Mother's Day Kahva

About this recipe: Kahva is a special tea from Kashmir. It's filled with fragrant cardamom, cinnamon and looks very pretty in a glass mug with chopped almonds swimming happily. I'm making it for my mom for Mother's Day brunch. LOVE YOU, MA!

  1. Heat a pan over high heat and boil the water. Add spices and let them boil for 5 minutes. Now, add the tea and boil another 5 minutes. Pour into transparent cups preferably, it has a beautiful color. Also for garnishing, you may add chopped almond. Note: When using saffron, add it at the beginning with the spices. No green tea is required for this method. It is a herbal tea.
  2. Pour into cups. Add chopped almonds and sugar to taste. Mix well and serve.

You may reduce the spice quantity if the flavour is too strong for you.
