Korean Noodles

    This is a fun Korean noodle recipe. I've used carrots and onions but you can use any other vegetables of your choice.

    Serves: 4 

    • 1 kg vermicelli noodles
    • 750ml water
    • 100g chicken or meat of choice, cut into strips
    • 1 yellow onion, julienned
    • 1 medium carrot, julienned into 5cm sections
    • 3 green onions, cut into 5cm sections
    • ½ teaspoon crushed garlic
    • Sauce Ingredient
    • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
    • ½ tablespoon caster sugar
    • ½ teaspoon sesame seeds
    • ½ teaspoon sesame oil

    1. Boil the water and add the vermicelli noodles. Cook for 10-12 minutes until the noodles get clear and soft. Drain, let sit for 10 minutes and rinse with cold water. Cut the noodles 2-3 times.
    2. Sauté meat with 2-3 drops oil, garlic, pinch of salt and black pepper. Sauté individually carrot, onion and green onion with 2-3 drops oil, pinch of salt and black pepper.
    3. Put all of them in a large bowl. Put the noodles into the bowl; add the sauce ingredients mix well.
