I tried this healthy, delicious smoothie today that uses ginger which is very beneficial for cholesterol.
1 banana, peeled
1 large orange, peeled and seeded
450ml vanilla flavoured soya milk
1 teaspoon ground ginger
- Place banana, orange, vanilla flavoured soya milk and ginger in a mixie. Process until ingredients are blended and smooth.
Use grated fresh ginger if you want more of a zing. Start out with a 1/2 teaspoon, and add more to taste.
