Banana Orange Smoothie

About this recipe: I tried this healthy, delicious smoothie today that uses ginger which is very beneficial for cholesterol.


Serves: 2 

  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 1 large orange, peeled and seeded
  • 450ml vanilla flavoured soya milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger

  1. Place banana, orange, vanilla flavoured soya milk and ginger in a mixie. Process until ingredients are blended and smooth.


Use grated fresh ginger if you want more of a zing. Start out with a 1/2 teaspoon, and add more to taste.
