About this recipe: Don't wait till Lohri to enjoy food and bonfires! Celebrate autumn's cool with this fun recipe. Serve with coffee, cream or ice cream!

Serves: 1 

  • 1 apple, cored
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (soft dark brown sugar preferred)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  1. Fill the core of the apple with sugar and cinnamon. Wrap the apple in a large piece of foil, twisting the extra foil into a tail for a handle.
  2. Place the apple in the coals of a fire or barbecue and let cook 5 to 10 minutes, until softened. Remove and unwrap, being careful of the hot sugar.
