    About this recipe: A cousin of the kheer, this creamy rice pudding is even better with cinnamon sprinkled on top.

    Serves: 8 

    • 200g caster sugar
    • 1.4L milk
    • 200g uncooked white rice
    • 2 eggs, beaten

    1. In a large pan over high heat, combine sugar and milk. When bubbles form at the edges, stir in rice and reduce heat to medium low. Cook 60 minutes, stirring often, until rice is tender. Do not allow to boil.
    2. Remove from heat and vigorously stir in beaten eggs, a little at a time, until well blended. Serve warm.
