    About this recipe: This is a relatively easy paratha to make and tastes good with curd.

    Ingredients
    Makes: 9 

    • 2 cups wheat flour
    • 1 cup water
    • 2 potatoes ( large)
    • 1 cup spinach finely chopped
    • 1 onion ( small)
    • 1 inch ginger
    • 1 tsp red chilli powder
    • vegetable oil

    1. Boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker for 10 mins.
    2. While the potatoes are boiling, knead the flour with water and salt and roll them into 9 medium sized balls and set aside.
    3. Mash the potatoes and add onion. ginger, salt and red chilli powder and roll into medium sized balls.
    4. Place some white flour in a bowl and lightly dip a wheat flour ball into it.
    5. Flatten it a little with a rolling pin and place a potato and spinach ball into it like a pocket and close it into a ball.
    6. Lightly dip it into white flour and flatten it out slowly with a rolling pin.
    7. Heat the tawa for 1 minute and place the rolled out paratha on it.
    8. Cook each side for 1 min each. When both sides are done add 1 - 2 drops of oil on both sides and cook for 1 more minute.
    9. Dab a little butter on it and serve with curd and pickle.

    Serving suggestion

    You can make the parathas ahead of time and just fry them in oil before serving it still tastes fresh.
