About this recipe:
Here's a tasty variation for the classic Italian snack.
170g tinned artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
80g grated Parmesan or Pecorino or Grana Padano cheese
1 small red onion, finely chopped
5 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 French bread baguette, cut into 1cm (.5 in) thick slices
- Heat oven to 200 C.
- In a medium bowl, mix artichoke hearts, cheese, red onion and mayonnaise. Top baguette slices with equal amounts of the artichoke mixture. Arrange slices in a single layer on a large baking tray.
- Bake in the preheated oven until toppings are bubbly and lightly browned.
