Inspired by the famous Spanish cold soup, this is a great pasta salad for summer picnics or easy dinners. It's colourful and tangy with its lime-tomato dressing and hari mirchi.

Sautéed red capsicum and almonds with freshly cooked pasta make for a great, light lunch in summer. Kids esp. love this dish!

Here is an easy, versatile pasta salad using red capsicum and broccoli. Perfect for lunch or a picnic. You can easily increase the recipe to feed a larger crowd.

This recipe comes from my Italian grandmother. It was always one of my favourites. It's best if you chill it overnight.

This is a crowd pleaser dish with its fruity flavour that's balanced with ginger and garlic. Great hit with kids and adults alike!

Here's a great summer pasta salad for any time munching. Corkscrew pasta is boiled, then tossed with capsicums, limes, mirchi, tomato and chilled for two hours. Also makes a great appetizer for a dinner party.

Now, here's a noodle dish to surprise you! Mix peanut butter, honey, spicy chilli paste and ginger, cook them in chicken stock, garnish with sliced green onions and more peanuts. Delicious!

I love artichoke hearts, tomato, feta cheese, parsley, lemon juice and oregano tossed with hot pasta. This flavourful dish takes just moments to make!

Have you ever used the belna for something other than rolling out chapatis? How about healthy spinach flavoured pasta?

Mango meets pasta in a spicy tomato sauce in this easy dinner dish. Reduce or increase chillies to taste. Also great as a picnic treat!

This dish is great either with chicken or just vegetarian. Either way, it's also really healthy, packed with vitamin A, potassium and lots of fibre. Serve on top of noodles. I've used asparagus as a garnish.

Boiled pasta tossed with chane sauteed with fresh oregano and parmesan. 'Fusilli' or 'corkscrew' pasta is used in this dish that Italian grandmothers still make for their families. It's best if you chill it overnight.

Great as a side dish or a light lunch, this fresh salad has penne tossed with tomatoes, cucumbers, capsicums and black olives. The dressing is lemon juice and olive oil.

This Catalan way of cooking pasta in a thick, fresh tomato sauce makes a rich side dish with meat or fish dishes.

This is a quick and easy lunch or dinner dish. Finally, you can use those beautiful smelling sweet peas for something other than just decoration.

This is a great soup that is light and healthy and good any time or any season. It is something my Mom always made on a Sunday before lunch. I make it atleast once a week for lunch for my kids. I keep changing the shapes of the pasta and and my kids absolutely love it.

Pasta doesn't get simpler than this- saute as many veggies as you like and toss them with pasta. A simple and delicious side dish. I've used turai and capsicums but feel free to use others of your choice.
