This is an easy dal to make on a vegetarian night. It tastes good with rice and is my favourite Indian food! I look forward to my Tuesdays dal chawaal nights!
Sindhi Saag (sai bhaji)
This is my favourite family recipe! My kids don't eat channa daal so I cheat and mush up the entire contents in a mxie or with a hand blender so they don't know the difference! I make a whole pressure cooker of it and take it to work as a soup. It tastes good with either rice or roti as well.

Shenga Hindi
Peanut chutney powder is called Shenga Hindi in North Karnataka. You can sprinkle this powder on curries, rice or dosas.

Pass the coke and serve this healthy, fruity water at your next brunch. It looks great and tastes even better! If you don't have oranges, you can use lemons or limes instead.

Diabetics friendly PUMPKIN.
Pumpkin is very useful for diabetics. It has very low glycemic index. Cinnamon spice is very good for controlling blood sugar.As per studies if a diabetic takes 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon powder daily twice a day with water regularly, the level of blood sugar may go down up to 30-35% within 3 months. The bay leaves are also helpful in reducing blood sugar level, As per studies, Fenugreek is very much helpful in reducing blood sugar and in controlling blood cholesterol.The vegetable prepared with under mentioned method may prove good for diabetics.
