I call this my emergency marinade - just garlic and soy sauce with olive oil. I put the measures in tablespoons as this is the easiest way to do it.

This is an easy dal to make on a vegetarian night. It tastes good with rice and is my favourite Indian food! I look forward to my Tuesdays dal chawaal nights!
Sindhi Saag (sai bhaji)
This is my favourite family recipe! My kids don't eat channa daal so I cheat and mush up the entire contents in a mxie or with a hand blender so they don't know the difference! I make a whole pressure cooker of it and take it to work as a soup. It tastes good with either rice or roti as well.

My son’s all time favorite lemon drink. Sometimes I add a dash of Rooh-afza instead of sugar
Rajasthani Lasun ki chutney
If you are a garlic lover, this chutney can accompany anything. Sometimes I eat it with plain chapatti or paratha and that tastes great too.
Rajasthani Laapsi
This is a sweet form of daliya (porridge) traditionally served during Dushehra. You can add lots of nuts, khoya and make it an outstanding dish.
Rajasthani Bajra roti
This roti tastes great with garlic chutney, but if you have a sweet tooth eating this roti with gur (jaggery) is an amazing combo.

This halwa is similar in taste and texture to Besan (Gram flour) halwa. This is a very popular sweet dish in Hyderabad.
