Wine Marinated Chicken

    Serves: 7 

    • 1 kg Skinless Chicken cut into medium pieces
    • 1 Pint Red Wine (I used regular Golconda)
    • 7-8 cloves Garlic - peeled and crushed
    • 1 inch Ginger piece (peeled and crushed)
    • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
    • 3-5 Green Chillies (finely chopped) You can use accordingl to your needs
    • 1/2 teaspoon sugar (optional)
    • 1 bunch Corriander levaes (finely chopped)
    • 2 onions
    • salt to taste

    Prep:20min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Extra time:2hr marinating  ›  Ready in:2hr50min 

    1. Wash the chicken pieces thoroughly with salt water and turmeric.
    2. Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients except Onions for 2 hours
    3. Slice the onions finely and saute it till golden brown.
    4. Add the marinated chicken and marinated wine and let the chicken cook till its done.
    5. Garnish with corriander leaves and serve hot with tiiny wedges of lemon


    You can use dried herbs like oregano, basil or thyme or even rosemary...


    you can substitute a pat of wine with brandy.... It gives a rish touch to the chicken


    When u dont have time or feeling lazy to peel and crush the ginger and garlic, u can use the ready paste but seperately
