Yogurt & Mint Dip

    Here's somethings that's quick and easy to make along with being finger licking yumm! So we were going to a friend's place for dinner and since everyone would be munching on tid-bits before the dinner.. I thought why not make something to go along with the crackers and celery sticks. & then was born the best, easy to make and doesn't require Einstein to guide! `Yogurt & Mint Dip'

    Makes: 2 cups

    • 2 cups yogurt (Dahi)
    • 1 cup mint leaves (pudina), finely chopped
    • 3 to 4 cloves garlic, peeled and finely minced
    • salt and pepper to taste

    1. Let the yogurt hang in a muslin cloth for about 2 hours before.
    2. Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl and refrigerate until well chilled

    Make in advance

    Storing: You can make the dip up to 6 hours ahead; cover and chill until needed.


    The quantity of the yogurt will reduce with the loss of water. So 1 masti dahi (big) jar will probably give you a little more than a 1 cup full of dip. Also don't go with the exact measurement, keep tasting it, bit by bit as you make it, till you feel it tastes yum! :)
