    these burgers are not at all heavy. they r loved by all my family n friends. goes very well with a steaming soup in winters and a fresh juice in summers

    Serves: 6 

    • 1/2 kg potato
    • 4 to 5 cloves of garlic
    • 3to 4 slices of bread
    • 3to4 tbs mayonese
    • 3 to 4 tbs tomato ketchup
    • salt to taste
    • oil for frying

    1. boil and mash potatoes,crush garlic,take salt and knead all three
    2. crush fresh bread in a blender and add to the above (knead well).shape into 6 patties (tikki) and deep fry or shallow fry in a non stick pan.
    3. cut the burger buns into halves, toast on a non stick pan. apply mayo on one side and ketchup on the other.
    4. place a lettuce leaf on the bun then the pattie. add onion and tomato rings as per taste. serve hot


    u can make the 'tikki' ahead of time and heat them together in an OTG, this makes it easier to serve more than one at a time
