- 3 Tbsp Raw Mango(Grated)
- 1/2 tsp Ginger
- 3 or 4 Greenchillies
- 1 Tbsp Jaggery
- 1 Tbsp Coriander leaves
- 8 Curry Leaves
- 3 Redchilly(Whole)-
- 1Tsp Mustard
- 1 Pinch Asofotedia
- 1Tsp Fresh Grated coconut(optional)-
- 1 Tsp Oil
- Salt to taste

- Grind the Mango with ginger and green chillies. Add sufficient water Add Jaggery and Salt and mix well.
- Heat oil, add mustard, allow it to crackle followed by red chillies, asofotedia, curry leaves. Add this seasoning to the mango water .
- Garnish with coriander leaves and coconut.
Keep the Rasam in the fridge for half an hour. Tastes good when cold
