bread dahi vada

About this recipe: easy recipe with leftover bread and dahi

Ingredients

Serves: 3 

  • 3 slices bread (cut into 4)
  • 2 cups dahi
  • 2 tbsp chopped corriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp green chilli chopped
  • 1.5 tbsp ginger chopped
  • 3 tbsp grated coconut
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 0.5 tbsp cashew nuts(optional)
  • as needed oil
  • to taste salt
  • to garnish red chilli powder

  1. cut the bread into 4 pieces and fry them in oil until golden brown
  2. mix the grated coconut,1.5 tbsp of d green chilli,1 tbsp ginger,1 tbsp chopped coriander and salt in a blender and add this to the dahi add extra salt if needed
  3. now heat a little oil,put in the mustard,rest of the green chilli,ginger and chopped cashew nuts and pout it into the dahi mixture
  4. at the time of serving put in the fried bread pieces into the dahi garnish with chopped coriander and chilli powder
