Beshon er Laddoo (Besan Laddoo)

    Beshon or Besan Laddoo is dessert that is yellow in color. It is a traditional dessert item often served on special occasions, such weddings or diwali.

    Serves: 10 

    • 2 cups of beshon
    • 1 cup of oil
    • 1 cup of sugar
    • Just a pinch of joyfal (nutmeg) powder
    • 1/2 cup of grated coconut
    • 1/2 cup of akhrot powder (walnut powder)

    1. Heat oil in a frying pan and add the beshon (besan). Stir continuously and when it is a bit friend, add the grated coconut.
    2. Continue stirring and adding the sugar, joyfal powder and aghrot powder.
    3. A sticky mixture will form and make small balls out of this warm thick paste.
    4. Set aside to cool.
    5. Serve.
