Yoghurt and Fruit Trifle

    • 40 wheat biscuits (15-20 per layer of trifle)
    • 1 kg sweet yoghurt ( mishit doi)
    • 1/2 of a pineapple, cubed
    • 2 oranges, cubed
    • 2-3 mangoes, cubed
    • 3-4 bananas, sliced thickly
    • 2-3 apples, cubed
    • 300-500g Chana pulao
    • 1 cup of orange, strawberry or mango jelly


    1. Dip each wheat biscuit in the cooked milk with a spoon and place it on the dish. Make a layer with around 15-20 biscuits.
    2. Spread a layer of sweet yoghurt on top of the layered biscuits.
    3. Now make a layer with half of the fruits.
    4. Repeat steps 1-3 to make another layer.
    5. Now sprinkle the chana pulao all over the top layer.
    6. Now take chunks or make scoops out of the jelly and decorate on the chana pulao layer.
    7. Chill for 30-40 minutes and serve.
