3 big onions, sliced thickly in round shapes or rings
4-5 green chilies, sliced in half along the length
1 teaspoon of vegetable oil
2 tablespoons of vinegar
Heat a tawa. Toast the onions and green chilies just slightly until a subtle toasted smell is released the onions have turned a bit reddish brown. ( Snapshot of uncooked onion slices and green chilies).
Sprinkle salt and oil to the tawa with the onions and green chilies. Stir and fry well.
Sprinkle the vinegar and stir well. A distinct flavor will be released.
