About this recipe:
Beef burgers are made quite differently in south Asia than in the US or any part of the western world. There are green chilies, fresh coriander and cucumber that makes the burgers very flavorful.
1 cup of minced beef
1 cup of sliced onions
1 tablespoon of sliced green chilies
2 teaspoons of paprika
1/2 teaspoon of ginger paste
1 tablespoon of chopped coriander leaves
Salt as needed
2 bread pieces
Oil-for deep frying
1/2-1 cup of mayonnaise
3 tablespoons of thinly sliced cucumbers
3 lettuce leaves, shredded
Mix the minced beef, onions, chilies, paprika, ginger paste and coriander leaves together. Don’t forget the salt!
Now soak the 2 bread pieces in water just for a while. Press the bread pieces to squeeze the water out
Mix the bread pieces with the minced beef. Crack the egg in and mix well.
Make 8 burger patties and set aside.
Heat a deep frying pan with oil. Deep fry the 8 burger patties until they turn golden brown.
Mix in mayonnaise, sliced cucumbers and shredded lettuce leaves
Slice the buns in half and spread some mayonnaise mixture in. Place the burger stake and cover with the other half of the bun.
Serve with ketchup.
