About this recipe:
Halwas are essentially sweet dishes made of mashed and boiled vegetables that are served as desserts. Beetroot adds a fizzy taste that makes the halwa stand out from the rest.
2 tablespoons ghee
4 cups grated beetroot
8 to 10 tablespoons sugar
3 cups milk
2 tablespoons chopped dry fruits
- Heat ghee in a pan. Add grated beetroot and fry it until it gets a little soft.
- Now add sugar and milk. Stir and cook until this mixture becomes dry.
- Sprinkle chopped dry fruits and mix well.
