    About this recipe: Tendali/Tendli is ivy gourd, which is chopped and stir fried with spices to make a simple yet delicious dish. Serve with rice or chapatti.

    Serves: 4 

    • 10 to 15 tendali or ivy gourd
    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • 1 tablespoon chopped tomatoes
    • 2 teaspoons red chili powder
    • 1 teaspoon haldi powder
    • salt as needed
    • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

    1. Cut tendali in four pieces.
    2. Heat a pan with vegetable oil, add cumin seeds, stir and then add tomatoes. Mix.
    3. Now add the tendali, red chili powder and haldi powder. Stir and mix.
    4. Add salt and sugar, stir and cook for 5 minutes.
