About this recipe: Paneer tikka sandwich is a popular afternoon snack that people like to have with hot or cold coffee. Its simple and quick to make, and you can add other toppings, like capsicum or carrots as well.

Serves: 1 

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup finely chopped onions
  • 2 teaspoons red chilly powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon haldi powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt as needed
  • 2 cups chopped paneer
  • 2 bread slices
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce

  1. Heat a pan with vegetable oil. Add chopped onions and fry until the onions turn pink. Now add red chilly powder, garam masala powder, haldi powder, sugar and salt. Mix well.
  2. Add chopped paneer and mix. Stir and fry until the spices have mixed well with the paneer. Set aside.
  3. Take a bread slice, spread butter and 2 tablespoons of the fried mixture. Cover it with another bread slice.
  4. Grease a tawa with butter. Roast the sandwich until you get the preferred brown color of the bread.
