Tandulka chi bhaji

    Tandulka is a native vegetable in Maharashtra, and is cooked as a light meal with cumin seeds, garlic and green chilies. Try this dish out with plain rice or roti!

    Serves: 5 

    • 6 cups chopped tandulka
    • Hot water as needed
    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • 2 chopped green chilies
    • 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
    • 2 cups chopped onions
    • Salt as needed

    1. Blanch the tandulka in hot water.
    2. Heat a pan with oil. Add cumin seeds, green chilies and garlic slices. Then add onions and fry until the onions turn pink.
    3. Now add blanched tandulka and salt. Stir and mix. Cook for 5 minutes.
