This is a dessert consumed during any fast or Navrati period. It is a simple dish of sweet potatoes flavored further with ghee and sugar. Enjoy!
2 tablespoons ghee
4 cups peeled and sliced ratale or sweet potatoes
2 cups sugar
- Heat ghee in a pan. Add sliced ratale and fry until it gets brown.
- Let it cook for 5 minutes until the potato slices become a little soft.
- Now add sugar. Stir and allow the sugar to dissolve.
- Cook for 5 more minutes.
