About this recipe:
Rava or semolina ladoo is another traditional Maharashtran ladoo made in almost every auspicious festivals, like Diwali. Enjoy and share with family.
2 tablespoons ghee
10-12 cashew nuts, chopped
10 blanched almonds, chopped
1 cup rava (semolina)
3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon elaychi or cardamom powder

- Heat a thick bottomed tawa with 1 tablespoon of ghee. Toast the cashews and almonds. Set aside.
- Add the rest of the ghee and rava. Stir and roast the rava on medium flame-do not allow the color to change. Transfer to a bowl, and allow to cool completely.
- Add sugar, milk and elaychi powder to the rava. Mix well.
- Now add the toasted nuts. Mix again, and make round shaped laddoos with your hand.
