In a saucepan, mix water with sugar. Put it on heat and allow to boil.
When bubbles start to form, add the lemon juice.
Continue stirring and when the syrup starts to thicken, add the ghee and peanuts. Continue stirring on low heat.
When the syrup has thickened up a bit more and the peanuts have almost started to clump, add the baking powder. Mix quickly and pour on a greased tray. Make sure the thickness is of 1 centimeter.
Roll the mixture out with a rolling pin so that it is smooth and flat. While hot, cut the mixture into long rectangular bars. Then after a few minutes, slowly with a knife life the bars out or else they will stick to the tray.
