    About this recipe: A curry which you can make quickly using very few basic ingredients. Paneer, onion, capsicum, tomato and basic Indian spices are used to make this curry. Cooking Time: 20 minutes Serves:2 persons

    Ingredients

    • 100 gm Paneer, cubed
    • 2 Tomatoes, pureed
    • 1 Green Capsicum, chopped
    • 1 Onion, chopped
    • Pinch of Turmeric Powder
    • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
    • 2 teaspoons Coriander Powder
    • 2 tablespoons Oil
    • Salt to taste
    • 1/3 cup Water

    Directions

    1. Heat oil in a heavy based kadai. Add chopped onion and cook until it turns light brown.
    2. Add pureed tomato and cook until oil starts to separate over low flame for around 2-3 minutes.
    3. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder. Stir and cook for a minute.
    4. Add chopped capsicum and salt and cook for 2-3 minutes.
    5. Add 1/3 cup water and bring it to boil over medium flame.
    6. Add paneer cubes and cook for 2 minutes or until gravy turns thick.
    7. Turn off flame and transfer prepared curry to serving bowl.

    Shortcut

    Add 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder in step-6 for spicy and aromatic flavor.
