Triple Chocolate Biscuits

    27 mins

3 types of chocolates go into these decadent treats. My friend and I, over the past year, have made a wide selection of biscuits. We have tried and tested a whole range of recipes, and this combination of ingredients we adapted and made is by far the best!!! Definitely for a sweet tooth!!!

    Serves: 12

    • 220g butter
    • 380g caster sugar
    • 4 tablespoons light brown sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
    • 310g self-raising flour
    • 1 pinch salt
    • 150g milk chocolate chunks
    • 150g white chocolate chunks
    • 150g dark chocolate chunks

    Prep:15min  ›  Cook:12min  ›  Ready in:27min

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 C.
    2. Cream together the butter and sugars. Then mix in the 2 eggs and vanilla extract. When mixture is fully mixed together, sieve in the flour and salt gradually and stir. Put mixture in the refrigerator for 15 mins, then stir in all of the chocolate. Use a 10ml spoon to place the dough on ungreased baking trays.
    3. Bake for 10 to 14 mins (depending on the size on each cookie). Allow the cookies to cool on the baking tray for 5 mins, then transfer to wire rack for a further 5 mins.

delicious! cant stop eating these cookies. easy enough for kids to make. we chopped our own chocolate to make bigger chunks. Thanks!  -  25 Aug 2010  (Review from Allrecipes AU | NZ)

I think there's something wrong with the recipe... Maybe it's meant to be plain flour, not self raising!?  -  29 Apr 2010  (Review from Allrecipes AU | NZ)

Does anyone know how long these will last? I want to make them for Christmas presents?  -  13 Dec 2010  (Review from Allrecipes UK | Ireland)
