About this recipe: My favorite thing to eat when I miss Mom.

Serves: 4 

  • 1 cup wheat flour (atta)
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ajawin
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic paste - optional
  • 2 table spoon ghee
  • salt to taste
  • Luke warm water for kneading
  • Oil for frying

Prep:10min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:25min 

  1. Mix all the ingredients in the flour and knead it to tight dough. Make balls out of it.
  2. Heat oil in deep pan; fry these baatis until light pink in color. Serve hot with green chutney.
