    Ingredients

    • 6-7 medium sized colocasia leaves (Aalu leaves)
    • 1/2 ginger-garlic paste
    • 1 tsp red chili powder
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1/2 cumin powder
    • 1/2 tsp jaggery
    • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
    • 2 cups besan
    • salt
    • water as reuired
    • 1 tsp sesame seeds
    • 1 tsp mustard seeds
    • 2 tsp chopped coriander

    Directions

    1. Remove the central vein and stalks of colocasia leaves
    2. Take all the ingriedients for the batter in a mixing bowl
    3. Add some water if required
    4. Check the taste and add more salt or masale if required.
    5. The batter has to be really thick
    6. Now spread the batter on each leaf and arrange them one bye one
    7. Roll the edges vertically and spread some batter on them
    8. Now roll horizontally and tightly.
    9. Place the roll on a steamer. steam for 30-40 minutes
    10. When roll became cool slice them in to small pisses
    11. For tempering heat oil in pan
    12. pop the mustard seeds first then add sesame seeds saute for second
    13. Then add vadi pices some coriander and saute till they get browned
