Dry fruits bites without Sugar & Ghee

    A sugar-free no Ghee sweet delights An Excellent Pregnancy food - have one with a glass of milk every day packed with essential nutrients. A foolproof way to add nuts to a toddler’s diet. Kids Even kids love Dates, Apricots, and raisins but often fussy with nuts of any kind. One of the excellent methods to make them eat all kinds of nuts along with their favorite dried fruits is This recipe! These energy bites are an excellent snack for kids. Since it lasts well for a week, you can just make it and store when free and give to satisfy their sweet cravings in a healthy way. I also shaped them into tiny balls so that it is easy for my toddler’s tiny fingers to hold and eat. Health benefits of Dried fruits and Nuts: they are a great source of proteins, vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber. Dates and figs are high in Iron while Cashews are high in Copper while zero in cholesterol. Almonds are excellent in maintaining hemoglobin levels. Walnuts are well known for being rich in Omega 3.

    Ingredients

    • 1 Cup Dates (Soft pitted ones work the best)
    • 1 Cup dried Figs Ajeer
    • 1/2 Cup Cashews
    • 1/2 Cup Almonds
    • 1/2 Cup Pistachios
    • 1/2 Cup Walnuts
    • 1/4 watermelon seeds
    • 2 Tbsp Ghee Optional

    Directions

    1. Remove seeds from the dates and chop them
    2. Soak the figs in water for 2 hrs minimum
    3. Grind figs and gate together into in mixer till they are coarsely ground. Keep aside
    4. chop the dry fruits
    5. roast in the microwave for 2 minutes and then again for 1 minute. Make sure you evenly spread out the dry fruits on a flat surface
    6. dry roast the fig dates paste on low medium till the water dries up
    7. Add the dry fruits and mix well
    8. grease a 6 inch by 6-inch square container and flat press the mixture tight
    9. let it cool down and cut into 1 inch by 1-inch cubes or size of your desire

    Shortcut
