    Serves: 6

    • 1 packet of easy roll puff pastry
    • 400g mincemeat
    • demerara sugar

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min

    1. Roll out the pastry to a 40x30cm rectangle. Spread the mincemeat out thinly onto pastry. Roll pastry into a log. Cut into 2 to 3cm slices.
    2. Place rounds on lightly greased baking tray and press down on each to flatten slightly. Sprinkle the sugar onto each round. Bake for 20 minutes at 180 C, checking regularly to see that they do not burn.
    3. Let pinwheels cool for 5 minutes before removing from tray.

Great easy recipe, Just wondering how long will these keep in a airtight container?  -  18 Dec 2011  (Review from Allrecipes UK | Ireland)

Sprinkled a tablespoon of ground almonds over the mincemeat to soak up the juice. Dusted with icing sugar before serving. Overall - very easy and quick to make!  -  01 Jan 2012  (Review from Allrecipes UK | Ireland)

i made these as written and after 20mins the underside was cooked but the tops were not. I very carefully flipped them over and cooked for another 20minutes but unfortunately they stuck a bit to the baking tray. after tasting one, nobody wanted any more. pity, because they are so much easier to make than "proper" mince pies.  -  28 Nov 2013  (Review from Allrecipes UK | Ireland)
