About this recipe: We always make this dish whenever we make khichdi or daliya! It adds an extra sour kick to an other wise bland lunch.

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 medium-sized onion (sliced)
  • 1 small tomato (sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric power
  • salt to taste
  • spring onion for garnishing

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add onion and cook until it turns transparent. Add tomato and dry masalas to the pan. Cook until the tomato softens. Garnish with spring onion and serve hot.
