Chatpati moong dal

    This is one of my husband's favourite snack. This is very easy to make and you can use your favourite flavour to it. He likes it spicy but my son likes it more sour and tangy.

    Serves: 4 

    • 100 grams Yellow moong dal
    • 1 teaspoon haldi powder
    • 1 cup oil (for frying)
    • 1 teaspoon chat masala
    • 1/2 teaspoon dry pudina leaves (crushed)
    • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
    • salt to taste

    1. Add hadi powder in the water and soak yellow moong dal for 20 minutes.
    2. Boil it for 5 minutes. Spread dal on a kitchen towel and let it dry.
    3. Heat oil in a pan, fry dal till crispy. When it cools down, add all the dry masalas to it. Enjoy with a cup of hot tea.
