About this recipe:
Being the mango season. It is also a light and perfect curry..
200 gms Green Mangoes cut into small pieces
5 Red chillies
1/4 teaspoon Tumeric Powder
1 tablespoon Corriander seeds
1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
8 Cloves Garlic
1 large Onion sliced
1 1/2 cups Water or enough to cover the mangoes
Pinch of Sugar
Salt To taste
- Grind the chillies, tumeric powder, corriander, cumin and garlic together.
- In a teaspoon of oil put in the onions and fry till transparent. Then add the ground masala. Pour in 1 1/2 cups of water and bring to a boil.
- Add the Mangoes, cover and cook till tender. Add salt and a pinch of sugar.
