    According to Ayurveda, lauki (bottle gourd) is very good for the body, it can reverse the effects of aging and it's specially very good for liver. It's low cal and so, it also helps to reduce obesity. Enjoy this recipe!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 2 

    • 1 small Bottle gourd (diced)
    • 1 small onion (diced)
    • 2 small pieces garlic
    • 1 green chilly
    • 1/2 cup Yellow Moong Dal (yellow lentils)
    • 1 lemon juice
    • 2 tbs fresh coriander
    • 1tbs salt & pepper
    • 1 tbs oil
    • pinch jeera
    • pinch turmeric powder
    • 2 cups water

    Directions
    Prep:15min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Extra time:5min other  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Take 1 tbs oil add some jeera , allow it to cracle and add to above all ingredients in pressure cooker & add water.
    2. Pressure cook all the ingredients, till completely cooked (around 3 whistles).then allow it to cool.
    3. Blend the cooked mixture with a hand blender to form a soup like consistancy.
    4. Add some more amount of water if required and boil for 3 minutes.
    5. Serve topping it with some fresh coriander.
